Transcendentalism in Advertising/Products

  • One way Transcendentalism principles are reflected in advertising is in the ChristianMingle commercials.

In the above picture, it's suggested that love between people of Christianity can be found or enjoyed in nature, relating to the principle that God's spirit can be found there (in nature).

  • Transcendentalism is often evident in clothing. There's usually always a variety to choose from in the styles of clothes whether it be different patterns, colors, or designs, contributing to the idea of avoiding conformity and promoting individualism.
  • Another example of transcendentalism in advertising is Nike's slogan "Just do it", promoting motivation in self-reliance.
